REIKI
Reiki the energy of love, harmony, light and power, works on all living beings, humans, animals, plants, and heals on all levels, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. The Healing Energy comes from the Universe. Reiki is the art of a hands-on healing, where the practitioner channels the energy from the Universe. The energy moves through the practitioner’s hands to the client.
Reiki is not religious, it is an energy that is Universal. Reiki has been taught both in the Western and the Japanese-tradition in a secular way. This is one of the things I love the most about Reiki, it is just pure energy! What makes Reiki unique as opposed to other healing modalities is that the energy is from the Universe and not the practitioner. I as a practitioner am tapping directly into Universal Life-Force energy and not my own physical energy. And whenever a practitioner is doing a Reiki Treatment they too are receiving healing.
The Reiki Energy will flow to the places in the body that it is most needed. Some people feel the energy immediately, as heat, cold, or tingling. Others take a while longer and a few more sessions to tune into and be able to feel the energy. If you do not feel the Reiki Energy physically, the energy is still healing, and you will feel the effects.
How Does Reiki Work ?
Reiki in Presence
The client lays on a bodywork table fully clothed and the Reiki practitioner lays his or her hands in different positions on the body starting at the head and ending at the feet. If a client isn’t comfortable with being touched the practitioner can always have their hands hovvering above the client. The Universal Healing Energy is passed through the practitioner into the client.
Distance Healing
Distance Reiki Healing sessions are sessions where Reiki Healing Energy is sent across space and time. The practitioner can be in one country and the person receiving the energy can be in another across the world. This can be a very effective healing form as people are often more relaxed in their own home, which enhances the healing effects of the Reiki Energy.

I have been working with Reiki now for more than 5 years. During these 5 years my Reiki practice has evolved and grown. The intensity of the energy that I am able to channel has increased. My intuition has also become stronger, very clear and precis. I am deeply guided by my intuition during sessions.

My first in-presence Reiki treatment was a surprisingly powerful experience. I had difficulty understanding the method based on my scientific background, but I had decided to be open.
Before the Reiki treatment, Ilo explained what would happen during it, and when I felt safe, I lay down on a very comfortable body worktable.
